AS Mentorship is a program built for exceptional, young talent from around the United States to be mentored by Alison Stroming. These 15 incredible rising stars have been handpicked by Alison to not only mentor, but also represent AS Dancewear for the year. Focusing on building pure one-on-one relationships, Alison will guide her mentees by sharing her wisdom, enthusiasm, and experiences with the next generation of talent.
Emma Grisham was born in Los Angeles, California and started dancing when she was just 18 months old. She is 13 years old and is an only child. She currently dances and competes with her studio, The Company in Los Angeles. When she’s not dancing, she likes to swim, play with her dogs, read, and occasionally cook!

Suvannah lives in New Jersey, and started dancing 4 years ago training in all styles of dance at Next Level All Star Dance - lyrical is her favorite. She was recently awarded the title of 2019 Miss Teen Believe at the Believe regional dance competition. Suvannah is focused on bettering herself and her dance technique. She has been accepted and/or attended many summer dance intensives including: Ailey 2019 Junior Division Summer Intensive, Dancerpalooza, team Larger than Life, Joffrey NYC Jazz Intensive, Chapters Dance 2019-2020 - Invite only dance intensive and Brea Space Summer Intensive.

Delaney is a 13 year old girl from Bloomingdale, New Jersey who is a fourth generation dancer! Her great grandparents met in Vaudeville! She began dancing as soon as she could walk. She has been in Mariah Carey‘s Christmas show for three years as well as national commercials. She is thrilled to announce that she can be seen in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “In The Heights” film coming to theaters June 2020.

KENNEDY RAE THOMPSON
Kennedy is 8 years old and has been dancing since she was two. She recently began training at Studio Bleu Dance Center and The Art of Technique Ballet Conservatory in Ashburn, VA, and is beginning her fourth year of competitive dance. This last dance season was a great one for Kennedy. She won numerous 1st place overall awards in the advanced category, as well as scholarships to conventions and competitions for the upcoming dance season, but the biggest reward of all was the growth and showmanship she exhibited on stage. She is looking forward to competing in the upcoming dance season and continuing to improve her technique.

Addyson Smith is from Woodland Hills, CA and has been dancing since she was 6 years old. She trains and competes with her studio, Elite Dance Center, in Woodland Hills. She loves all styles of dance, her most favorite being contemporary, ballet, lyrical and improv. She started competing two years ago and some of her best memories from this past season are winning the Kar Jr. Miss America Title at Kar Nationals 2019 and competing at The Dance Awards in Vegas for Best Dancer.

Iliana Victor is 13 years old and from Brooklyn, NY. She dances at Westchester Dance Academy. Iliana started her dance training when she was 10 years old. Her 2019 accomplishments so far was making top 10 at 2019 Dance Awards Orlando Nationals. Also in 2019, Iliana was invited to be a part of Beat Squad and received multiply training scholarships to attend Complexions Ballet in NYC, Grand Premier International in Arizona and the Preprofessional Dancer Institute in New Mexico.

Maia is an 8 year old competitive dancer from Florida. She began dancing at the age of 3. She truly enjoys all genres of dance and loves learning new Acro skills.

ISABELLA (IZZY) KEESEE
Isabella (Izzy) Keesee is 10 years old and a company member at The Rock Center for Dance in Las Vegas, NV. She started dancing at the age of 4, but didn’t start competing until 6 years old. She trains in all styles of dance, but ballet is her passion. This past season she was thrilled to be a Nonstop Dancer at 24/7 and make top 12 at YAGP for both contemporary and classical. Izzy is so honored to have this opportunity with Alison and cannot wait for this dance season to begin!!

Sienna Smith is from Tampa, FL and started dancing when she was 4 years old. She just celebrated her 10th anniversary recital season . This season, Sienna will be touring with The Titans of Dance and is so excited about it! She is looking forward to this coming year and being apart of this mentorship!

Bailey Toney is from Florida and she is 8 years old! She has been dancing since she was 2 years old at Dance Unlimited and started competing when she was 4. She loves all kinds of dance but her favorites are ballet and acrobatics! This past summer she traveled to NYC to learn from and perform with The Joffrey Ballet School Summer Program and also placed in the Top Ten at the Artist Simply Human’s National Competition.

SOPHIA GRACE CAPPECI
Sophia Grace is from Langhorne, PA and trains at Body Language Dance Center in Ewing, NJ. Her studio received their first ever Industry Dance Awards nomination this year for her musical theater small group, which won best musical theater of the year. Her favorite styles of dance are lyrical and sassy jazz!

Olivia Beauchamp lives in Toledo, Ohio and trains in ballet full time at Toledo Ballet and competes with Evolve Dance Complex in Pittsburgh, PA. She started dancing when she was 2 1/2, and competing when she was 4. This past year, she was invited to the YAGP finals and also made top 23 for Teen Female Best Dancer at The Dance Awards Orlando. She was also able to attend Dancerpalooza where she was a member of Beat Squad. She is honored of being a part of the mentorship program with Alison Stroming.

Josabella is from Richmond, Virginia and trains at The Dance Company with Richmond Ballet’s principal dancer Maggie Smalls. She also trains with teachers and at studios around the world including Francisco Gella, Steps on Broadway, and Master Ballet Academy, and to name a few. She has placed top 10 at The Dance Awards for Best Dancer Finalists for the past 3 years. In 2017 and 2018, she had the honor of dancing as Clara in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular in New York City.

Bella Jones is 11 years old and is from Charlotte, NC. She began dancing at the age of 2 and has loved it ever since. She's currently training privately with Mrs Fiona Fairrie. She loves all styles of dance, but her favorites would have to be ballet and contemporary. She had the honor to win the Hope Award at Youth America Grand Prix and the future Misty Copeland Special Award.

Audrey Mayernik is from Fort Wayne, Indiana and started dancing when she was 2 ½ years old. She started her formal ballet training at Project Ballet when she was only 5 years old. She’s currently training full time at The Colony in Chicago, Illinois and also just started homeschooling to focus on her training. This past year, she competed and attended many dance conventions and set short-term goals in which she ended up in the top 20 Mini Best Dancers at the Orlando Dance Awards.
